Our research team studies questions related to human-machine interaction stemming from the digitization of autotelic activities such as playing or reading, with a multidisciplinary approach (computer science, psychology, arts, design). Current studies include difficulty modeling in video games, methodologies of inclusive game design, fluid interaction for the visualization of large digital libraries, sonification in mixed reality and AI for video games. The team often works in partnership with companies in the field and works together with the French National School of Video Games and Digital Interactive Media (Cnam-Enjmin) on teaching modules.
