Ming-Jun Zhang
Graduated from Wuhan University of Technology, he later joined the French engineering school EFREI through an exchange program, becoming the first Chinese graduate and valedictorian of his cohort to obtain the French engineering degree from this institution. He began his professional career as an engineer at SchlumbergerSema (Atos Origin) in France, before joining the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers (Cnam) as an adjunct lecturer in software engineering. He subsequently assumed full-time responsibilities as the Cnam representative in China. He holds a PhD in Engineering Sciences and currently serves as Dean of Cnam at the DGUT–Cnam Sino-French Institute. He is a member of the editorial board of the International Journal for Simulation and Multidisciplinary Design Optimization. He has also served as a professor at ECE and ESIEA. He is currently a member of the Horizon Europe UPWEARS project, within which he co-supervises a PhD thesis funded by the project. He is also a visiting research fellow at the Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
