Thach Ngoc Dinh

Thach Ngoc Dinh received the M.Sc.Res. degree in automated systems engineering and the Diplôme d’Ingénieur (master’s) degree in electrical engineering from INSA Lyon, France, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from Paris-Saclay University, funded by INRIA, with the Laboratories CAOR of Mines Paris-PSL and L2S-CentraleSupelec, France, in 2014. From 2015 to 2016, he was a JSPS Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan. Subsequently, in 2016 and 2017, he held a temporary position of an Assistant Professor with the Polytechnic University of Hauts-de-France, France. Since September 2017, he has been a tenured Associate Professor with Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, France. Additionally, he has held visiting positions with the Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan and the Institute for Advanced Study (HWK), Germany. His research focuses on robust control and observer design. He has served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Control Systems Letters and Journal of the Franklin Institute, a Subject Editor for Nonlinear Dynamics, and an Editorial Board member/a Guest Editor for several other scholarly journals. Moreover, he is a member of the IFAC Technical Committee “Linear Control Systems”. Dr. Dinh was awarded the JSPS Post-Doctoral Fellowship for North American and European Researchers in 2015 and the Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg Regular Fellowship in 2023. P.S.
