Traitement du signal et architectures électroniques

L’équipe LAETITIA se concentre sur des problématiques de traitement du signal pour les télécommunications et la sureté de fonctionnement des systèmes dynamiques. Elle est ainsi structurée en 3 axes de recherche.

L’axe 1 « Traitement du signal pour les télécommunications » regroupe les activités de recherche en lien avec le développement de la 5G puis la 6G pour les réseaux cellulaires ainsi que les problématiques liées à la couche physique pour les réseaux faible puissance longue portée pour l’internet des objets. Parmi les thématiques de cet axe nous pouvons citer l’étude de nouvelles formes d’onde, les systèmes MIMO multi-utilisateurs et les traitements pour l’estimation des canaux et la réduction des interférences, le développement d’algorithmes pour l’allocation de ressources (optimisation de puissance, énergétique, …), les techniques les corrections des imperfections dues à la chaine RF ainsi que l’étude de nouveaux algorithmes de localisation.

L’axe 2 « Sûreté de fonctionnement des systèmes dynamiques » regroupe les activités de recherche en Automatique et couvre les thèmes complémentaires « détection, localisation et identifications de défauts » qui porte sur le développement de procédures permettant d’améliorer le diagnostic des fautes des systèmes complexes et « commande tolérante aux défauts » qui a pour objectif de reconfigurer en ligne les lois de commande en présence de pannes.

L’axe 3 « Implémentation temps-réel » est impliqué dans la mise en œuvre des algorithmes proposées par l’équipe LAETITIA pour des applications en télécommunication et en instrumentation-mesure. Les solutions temps-réel sont en général basées sur des architectures à base de FPGA. Les chercheurs de cet axe sont impliqués dans la mise au point de plusieurs démonstrateurs et prototypes pour des projets collaboratifs.

  • Résumé: L’augmentation du nombre de drones et d’aéronefs légers et autonomes disposant d’une faible Surface équivalente radar (SER), nécessitera de mettre au point, en zone rurale ou urbaine, des systèmes d'autoprotection, par détection et localisation d'obstacles, avec des caractéristiques comparables aux avions de ligne actuels permettant d’assurer un vol sécurisé. L’objectif de DOREDO est de fournir un système de détection et de localisation d’obstacles embarquable, prévenant toute route de collision potentielle dans l'espace aérien inférieur aux 120m d'altitude allouée aux drones. Les cibles à localiser sont les mini drones de type C1 à C4, les aéronefs de transport, les hélicoptères ainsi que les avions civils. Le système radar développé dans le cadre de DOREDO vise des performances en termes de détection et de localisation d’obstacles dans un rayon de 450, 1000 et 2400 m pour des Surfaces équivalentes radars (SER) respectives de -10, 0 à +10 dBm² ou plus. Il devra aussi être en mesure de fournir en temps réel des informations azimut (0 à 360°), site (±40°), distance, vitesse, mais aussi d’estimer et de visualiser la route de collision et le temps restant. La technologie radar est proposée dans ce projet car elle assure à ce jour la plus grande portée de détection à partir du drone porteur vis à vis d'autre technologie de type optique (visible, infrarouge, Lidar). Sur le plan scientifique, les innovations du projet concernent plusieurs aspects. Tout d’abord le développement de l'antenne circulaire à 24 colonnes composée de matériaux BIE et de murs métalliques pour assurer respectivement la compacité et le découplage. Une autre innovation concerne le développement d’algorithmes spécifiques permettant d’optimiser la détection et la localisation de cibles en tenant compte de l’environnement et des limites calculatoires de l’électronique embarquée. Cet équipement est par ailleurs dimensionné pour rester dans un volume restreint tant sur le plan antennaire que pour le coffret embarqué. Un drone de 25 kg est le porteur minimum retenu pour embarquement de ce système.

    • Résumé: Ce projet porte sur le développement d’observateurs ensemblistes pour l’estimation d’état et la détection de défauts pour différents types de systèmes soumis à des perturbations bornées. Tout d’abord, nous considérons un système linéaire invariant dans le temps `a temps discret soumis à des perturbations d’état et bruits de mesure bornés ainsi qu’`a des entrées inconnues. Afin d’estimer l’état de ce système et ces entrées inconnues, un observateur par intervalles fondé sur un filtre de Kalman zonotopique est conçu. Dans ce contexte, on utilise souvent un changement de coordonnées permettant de découpler l’état et les entrées inconnues. Ici, la dynamique est réécrite sous la forme d’un système linéaire singulier invariant dans le temps `a temps discret en ajoutant les entrées inconnues au vecteur d’état. Une approximation zonotopique extérieure de l’ensemble des états faisables est alors obtenue grâce à une stratégie de prédiction/correction se fondant sur l’information provenant de la dynamique du système, des entrées connues et des mesures. Des bornes pour l’état et les entrées inconnues peuvent ensuite être calculées à partir de ce zonotope. Nous considérons ensuite un syst`eme linéaire à paramètres variant dans le temps à temps discret dont le vecteur de paramètres n’est pas mesurable. Ce système, comme précédemment, est soumis à des perturbations d’état et bruits de mesure bornés ainsi qu’à des entrées inconnues. Bien que le vecteur de paramètres ne soit pas mesurable, nous considérons ici que les composantes des matrices sont bornées, et que les bornes de ces composantes sont connues. Comme dans le cas de l’observateur zonotopique, les entrées inconnues sont ajoutées au vecteur d’état et la dynamique est réécrite sous la forme d’un système linéaire singulier à paramètres variant dans le temps à temps discret. Une nouvelle structure d’observateur par intervalles est alors proposée, laissant plus de degrés de liberté pour le réglage des gains que l’approche classique par changement de coordonnées. Les gains de l’observateur sont ensuite calculés en résolvant un problème d’optimisation sous contraintes d’inégalités matricielles linéaires, obtenues grâce à la condition de coopérativité et à une approche L infini. Finalement, nous considérons un système linéaire à paramètres variant dans le temps à temps continu dont le vecteur de paramètres n’est toujours pas mesurable. Ce système est soumis `a des perturbations d’état bornées ainsi qu’à un défaut de capteur se traduisant par un biais additif sur le signal de mesure. De même que dans le cas précédent, le vecteur de paramètres est supposé être non mesurable mais les composantes des matrices sont bornées, ces bornes étant connues. Nous introduisons alors un nouvel observateur par intervalles pour la détection de défaut de capteur, laissant les mêmes degrés de liberté que l’observateur décrit précédemment. Cet observateur est utilisé pour calculer un intervalle de résidus qui permet, en vérifiant si zéro est contenu dans l’intervalle ou non, de savoir si le capteur est sujet à un défaut ou non. Comme dans le cas discret, une procédure d’optimisation sous contraintes d’inégalités matricielles linéaires garantissant la coopérativité, la stabilité et la robustesse de l’observateur, permet de calculer les gains. Des simulations numériques permettent de vérifier l’efficacité de ces différentes approches.
