Résumé: Business Informatics continues to establish its importance and consolidation as a main domain of research and applied work. IEEE has embarked upon this multidisciplinary area for a number of years. IEEE CBI, now in its 4th edition, plays an active role in the bootstrap process of the growing scientific and professional communities of the emerging field of Business Informatics. The policies adopted by the Steering Committee and the actions of the Organizational Committees are guided by the best international standards and intended on achieving top reputation due to the relevance of the topics selected and the rigor of the contributions selected for presentation. The IEEE Conference on Business Informatics aims at advancing quality research related to business and practice, while addressing several relevant and inter-related domains.
