[Jak08] A Comparison of Component-based Structural Equation Modelling Methods on Sensory Data

Conférences Internationales sans actes : ESSEC-HEC Research Workshop Series on PLS (Partial Least Squares) Developments, Paris, Paris, France,

Mots clés: PLS path modeling, SEM, Sensory data

Résumé: Component-based and covariance-based structural equation models are frequently seen as competitive method. We show that these approaches are complementary. PLS Path Modeling can be applied when very large models are used with few observations. Classical SEM are adapted when the goal is to judge the goodness of fit of the model to the data. Empirical applicatio based on Sensory data are presented.
