The objective of the SWAN 2006 Workshop is to identify key research directions for security and trust in modern Web-oriented applications: P2P, Grid and Web-services architectures.

SCOPE AND PAPERS

Papers should address theoretical and practical issues of security and trust in P2P applications, Grid infrastructures and Web-services. Topics include, but are not limited to:
  • Access control in distributed documents;
  • Trust of distant, outsourced data and computations;
  • Executions proofs;
  • Multi-party computations;
  • Trust and reputation systems;
  • Watermarking, fingerprinting and steganography of data and computations;
  • Privacy protection;
  • Anonymity;
  • Security verification;
  • Mobile applications.
This workshop will be made of full papers and short papers. Full papers can be up to 12 pages long, short papers 6-8 pages long, using the ICDIM format. Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of IEEE ICDIM, and indexed on IEEE Xplore. Publication requires a full registration of at least one of the authors by August 31, 2006. Submissions should not be under consideration in another conference or workshop. Authors are invited to register their abstract, upload full and short papers in electronic format (PDF) at http://cedric.cnam.fr/vertigo/swan2006/submit.
