[MSZ18] PAPR reduction of post-OFDM waveforms contenders for 5G & Beyond using SLM and TR algorithms

Résumé: This paper investigates the performances of signal processing based PAPR reduction methods to increase the efficiency of power amplifiers to be used in 5G and B-5G context along with multi-carrier modulations. The considered waveforms in this work are WOLA-OFDM, UFMC, f-OFDM, by taking conventional CP-OFDM as reference. The PAPR reduction methods used are Selected Mapping and Tone Reservation and their complexity is evaluated in terms of number of complex multiplications.
