Résumé: Abstract—This paper introduces a new localization performance evaluation parameter named ’Error Density’. It is given by the ratio between the mean error and the indoor environment area. We believe that such parameter is relevant in order to compare different localization methods proposed by different research teams in their own indoor areas. We propose to compare existing localization algorithms with the kernel method based localization using RSSI fingerprints applied to the public indoor localization database
